Lawlor Sunday, 04 April 2010
Thomas Lawlor is my paternal g x 3 grandfather. In 1879 he was working as a Shepherd somewhat incongruously in South Shields, Durham. He attended the wedding of his daughter Johanna Maria Lawlor to Charles Anderson in 1879 and there the trail runs cold. I have no idea who Johanna's mother is. Charles and johanna's daughter (Annie my great/great grandmother) was born in Poplar East London in 1881. Johanna, I have found working as an housekeeper in London in 1911 (widowed). Therefore at some point they moved to East London.
