REAN Thursday, 11 November 2010
I am searching for my aunt, Betty Rean, her maiden name was Bilston, she was born in Birmingham in 1932. She was one of twins, her mother Ediith(nee Bennette) died along with the twin, Burnard. She was evacuated to Glamorgan, where, it appears, the family she was placed with, adopted her. She married mr Rean in 1955. She never, as far as I know, returned to Birmingham. Her father married my grandmother, Alice Julia Sly, in 1933, and Betty was taken out of Lordswood nursery to live with her new family. My mother, and uncle, have not seen her since she was evacuated, if she is still alive I know it would mean so much to them. I hope there is someone out there who can put me in touch with my aunt, or at least her children. Thank you
