Any information on the Gargan family would be appreciated. The name may have a variation of spellings. My family lived in Aston. John. Mary, Margaret are some of the names. John was born in Ireland but I do not know which part. There was also a Fanny. One address I have for them is Coleman Street

Gargan Sunday, 28 March 2010
Trying to find about my Gt Grandmothers origin. Her name was Margaret Gargan - Father John Gargan. Margaret had a Sister called Frances (Fanny) Margaret married Edward Moore in Birmingham 1977 - The name Gargan has been spelt in many other ways so this is not going to be easy. I guess the family were originally from Ireland but cannot be certain.
