Fead also spelt Fade, Faid, Faed depending on who recorded the details. Probably originated in Dumfries, Scotland but my family name, Fead, is found in North Northumberland, in Berwick upon Tweed. Ann Fead was my great, great grandmother

I am loooking to trace any information on Jessie Little. Jessie had a diaghter born in St. Marys hospital Stannington in 1948. THere were relatives possibly in teh Alnwick are. Bella Little who lived at Snipe House Bella had a duaghter Sheila who was possibly born in 1946 .Can anyone help.

Jessie Little who had a daughter Carol Isabella in Stannington Northumberland 1948. Jessie gave birth while possibly a patient in St. Marys hospital Stannington. this was my mother I was adopted and althoiugh she is possibly deceased now I would like informatiuon. I had an aunt called Bella who lived at Snipe House Alnwick, she had a daughter called Sheila who was about the same age as me. I was given no information about my birth mother she was never talked about openly and when she mentioned it was whispered. My father was James Dixon (Whitehead) I have never had a full birth certificate so I dont know if he was mentioned.
