I am looking for the name John Harris - he was born at sea en route from England and listed Victoria on his childrens birth certificates here in New Zealand. I don't know what his parents names are or what age he came to New Zealand or where in England his parents came from - but he married a Catherine Allen in Christchurch in 1871. He was a shepherd by trade. Hopefully he will be a missing link on someones tree.
