The first successful submarine torpedo attack took place when the USS Housatonic was sunk by the Confederate submarine Hunley in Charleston harbour however, the force of the explosion was so great that the submarine itself was also blown up, killing all on board. |

My Grandfather, Laszlo Keller lived in the Rima-Szombat region of Hungary and emigrated to Canada sometime after 1911 (not in 1911 census of Canada) I am sorry but this is all I know of him in Europe. In Canada he married Margit (nee unknown) and had 2 children, Leslie and Gloria. I would appreciate any info and could share info on family in Canada.
