Featherstone Tuesday, 23 November 2010
Squire Gerald Featherstone Co Roscommon Ireland immigrated to Australia with his wife, (Surname Dalton or may be spelt Norman way "D'Alton) and family 3 sons, one a ship's captain, one a doctorand details of 3rd son unknown. The boys supposedly attended Trinity College Dublin. This would have been prior to 1850. There was also a daughter .She was the reason the family immigrated to Australia she had TB and apparently it was thought the climate would benefit her health. Would appreciate any info Re: the above, specifically details about the elusive Mrs Featherston and also sons and daughter . Both before they immigrated and when they lived in Australia . The above is all the information I have on them .They were my great, great grandparents on my Mother's side of the family. thank you in anticipation of any assistance with the above family.
