Squire Gerald Featherstone Co Roscommon Ireland immigrated to Australia with his wife, (Surname Dalton or may be spelt Norman way "D'Alton) and family 3 sons,one a ship's captain,one a doctorand details of 3rd son unknown. The boys supposedly attended Trinity College Dublin. This would have been prior to 1850. There was also a daughter .She was the reason the family immigrated to Australia she had TB and apparently it was thought the climate would benefit her health. Would appreciate any info Re: the above, specifically details about the elusive Mrs Featherston and also sons and daughter . Both before they immigrated and when they lived in Australia . The above is all the information I have on them .They were my great,great grandparents on my Mother's side of the family. thank you in anticipation of any assistance with the above family.

looking for descendants of Michael Regan, who was born in 1840. I'm descended from his son, John C. Regan, who was born in Tibohine, Castlerea, Roscommon in 1859, and emigrated to Brooklyn, NY in 1883. Would like to contact descendants of his siblings

I am looking for any descendants of Michael Regan and Mary Connor. Their Son, John Regan, born in 1859 at Tibohine, Roscommon, was my maternal great grandfather. He emigrated to Brooklyn, NY in 1883, married Mary Bridget Conway in 1887, and died in 1938. His eldest son, John A Regan, was my maternal grandfather.

I have that John Winters was born 1803 in Boyle Roscommon Ireland. Married Ann Cunningham from Killucin and stayed in that county from about 1833 had 9 children. after last child patrick in 1856 story goes that they moved to Canada and then on to Australia. My ggfather James and Brother John were in Qld in 1881 on but not sure what happened to Father John, Wife Ann, other siblings MaryBridget Ann Peter and Patrick. Does this sound familiar, can you help?? not sure ask anyway please.
