I am looking for information about my Grandfather who sadly I never met as he died in 1975 and I was born in 1986, Raymond William John Price was born on October 31st 1905 in In believe Newport, Monmouthshire to Bertie William Price and Bessie Charlotte Burge. In about 1907 the family moved to Merthyr Tydfil, his Father was killed in Belgium in 1915 during this time I know nothing of him he married twice the first around 1923 and had five children two sons and three daughters it is thought that at this time he is living in the Rhondda, but I can not confirm that. He fought in the RAF during the second world war and was a german prisoner of war, in 1945 he married his second wife my Grandmother Gladys Nicholls of Neath and they had three children Jessie Winifred in 1944, Vernon Charles my Father in 1946 and Richard Malcolm in 1950. He spent the rest of his life in Britton Ferry, Neath and worked at the Metal Box and died in 1975 of lung cancer. I do not know the name of his first wife or his five older children.
