Bilston Sunday, 27 June 2010
I am looking for Betty Bilston, or as was. She was born in 1932 and had a twin, Bernard, who died very soon after birth and whose mother, Edith(nee Bennette), died in child birth. Betty's father, William Bilston married again, to Alice Julia Sly, he already had six children, four boys, Joyce and Betty, which he took to the marriage. Betty was evacuated to Wales, during the war, but was never returned to her family. My question is was she adopted, and if so, is there anyone who was /is connected with Betty's adopted family, who could tell me what happened to her. Thanks

Vallentin Thursday, 24 June 2010
Oscar Vallentin married my great aunt, Edith Sly in 1919. They had two daughters, Edith born 1930 and Barbara 1934. These two girls would have been the cousin of my mum Ada Sly, and the nieces of my grandfather, John Sly, who died in June 1926, due to a tragic accident. What I would like to know would be if any of the Edith and Oscar's decendants are alive, and if they could tell me what Oscar's nationality was. Hope you can help. Thank you
