William Duke Munro. My Gt. Uncle, William Duke Munro, b.1872 in Dundee. Scotland arrived in Canada in 1905 with his wife Vincent Dawson, b.1870 in Dundee, Scotland and his family. Annie, b.1896, Jessie, b.1899, Maggie, b.1901 and Chrissie, b.1904 all born in Scotland. A further two children were Willie, b.1907 and Mabel, b.1908, born in Quebec. They lived at Maronier Avenue, Montreal. My Gt. Uncle was employed by C.P.E. and died in 1944. He is buried in Mount Royal Cemetery. Can anyone find out anthing about his family? Marriages, Deaths anything? Thank You. Sue.

Can anyone help me find my Gt. Uncle's family? He was William Duke Munro, b.1872, Dundee, Scotland. He arrived in Montreal in 1905 with his wife, Vincent Dawson, b.1870, Dundee, Scotland, and children, Annie, b.1896, Jessie, b1899, Maggie, b.1901, and Chrissy, b.1904, all born in Dundee, Scotland. I am trying to find the ancestors of William Duke Munro, b. 1872, Dundee, Scotland, who emigrated to Maronier Ave., Montreal, Quebec in 1905. His wife, Vincent Dawson, b.1870, Dundee, Scotland. His family were Annie, b.1896, Jessie,b.1899, Maggie, b.1901 and Chrissy, b.1904, all born in Scotland. A further two members of this family were William b.1907 and Mabel, b. 1908, both in Quebec. William Duke Munro was my Gt. Uncle and was employed by Canadian Pacific Express. He died in Dec.,1944 and is buried at Mount Royal Cemetry. Can anyone help me find out where this family went? George Allen born in London in 1886 father also called George I do not know mothers name. Went to live in Ontario Canada aprox 1921 to 1925. Re married in Canada think to a lady called Annie died in an old peoples home in Scotia in 1974. George is my brick wall any info would be welcome. Name of mother name of wife.
