Lipscombe Wednesday, 19 May 2010
Parents of three brothers; Frederick, Henry and Edward Lipscombe who moved to Australia (Frederick first in 1829 and the other 2 brothers followed). Frederick was born 1808 in Limpsfield, Surrey. There seems to be a consensus that the parent's names were Thomas and Jane, but not sure and can't find any more information. Thanks so much.

Lancaster Sunday, 16 May 2010
I am researching my Great,G,G,G Abel Lancaster. Abel, was also known as Abel Clarke, he was aged 20 and was a labourer who could read and write imperfectly. He was committed to Aylesbury Gaol on 22 August 1840 by Rev. William Bruton Wroth (a magistrate). He was charged on 19th July for taking from the house of William Janes at Edlesborough a waistcoat, worth two shillings (property of William Janes), and a pair of shoes, worth seven shillings (property of Jonathan Janes). He was found guilty and sentenced to transportation for ten years. Abel was transported to Tasmaina on the ship Barossa in 1841. He married Harriett Burgess in Tasmaina. I would like to know his date of birth, where he was born and as much information regarding his family, parents, siblings etc.
