We have tried to provide a resume of the most important points for the newcomer. However, these notes should not be regarded as a substitute for good old-fashioned books. Especially, if you are a beginner, you are strongly advised to start by visiting your local library and doing some reading on genealogy and family history. further more there are many good magazines on Family History / Genealogy.
